The Books

Have you ever googled "What does a farmer look like?" Well I did just that after a twitter conversation about the image that is portrayed of farmers. I've got to say I was less than impressed with the results.

I can assure you right now that farmers are not all grey haired bearded men in checked flannelette and bib & brace overalls holding a pitchfork and chewing straw!

To show the diversity of our farming community in Australia, I have traveled around the country photographing and interviewing our farmers to see and hear all about them, their families, their farms and why they do it all!

Creating the What Does A Farmer Look Like? book has been both challenging and rewarding!

The farm kids I have met along the way were the inspiration for the second book, Little Farmers, which will be out in early December 2019. This book will be filled with beautiful photos and stories from our next generation of farmers, our Little Farmers!
